After an accident, it is rarely clear what you need. It may be a full damage report (Schadengutachten), only a repair estimate (Kostenvoranschlag), or a valuation that has nothing to do with the accident.
Call us and describe the case. The free initial assessment takes five minutes and costs nothing.

Two types of reports cover most cases. We also explain when you need a report at all, and what to do if the insurer reduces the payment (Kürzung).
After the accident: the full report with extent of damage, repair method, repair costs, replacement value (Wiederbeschaffungswert), residual value (Restwert), diminished value and downtime (Ausfalldauer). For cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks, trailers and special vehicles. Learn more
Determine the value: market value, replacement value and condition grade (Zustandsnote) for Youngtimer (modern classics, 15 to 30 years), Oldtimer (classic cars, 30+ years) and vehicles with special value. Basis for the insurance amount, a sale, an inheritance or a dispute. Learn more
Minor damage: not every case needs a report. The comparison shows what a repair estimate does, what it lacks, and when the full report is worthwhile. We also create the repair estimate on request. Go to comparison
After a reduction: the insurer reduced the payment, or another expert's report does not match the damage. We check the repair cost calculation and the values. In an expert statement (Stellungnahme), we record which points are not correct. Also for law firms and repair shops. Learn more
Four steps. You take the first one. We take care of the rest.
Call us or message us on WhatsApp. We clarify the next steps with you and arrange an appointment, usually within 24 hours.
We come to you, to the repair shop or to the place where the car is parked. The damage inspection takes 30 to 45 minutes for a typical damage.
Usually within 24 hours after the inspection. We send the report to the people involved. We stay your contact person for questions.
If the other driver is at fault, their liability insurance pays based on the report. You decide whether to use the money for a repair or to keep it.
Three photos from real cases. The nice photo is not what counts. What counts is a clear link between marks, height and extent.

We also handle these cases. Call us, and we clarify the scope and who pays the costs in advance.
Damage inspection with animal hair on the car, contact marks and impact height. The wildlife collision certificate comes from the police or the hunting leaseholder (Jagdpächter). Certificate: police or hunting leaseholder
Hail measurement and calculation following BVAT specifications. Where possible, we calculate paintless dent repair (pushing the dent out from behind). Calculation: following BVAT specifications
A marten is a small wild animal. It often bites cables and hoses in parked cars. We document the bite marks and the follow-up damage to cables, insulation and hoses. Documented: bite marks and follow-up damage
Visual check after the repair, with photo documentation. It is confirmed that the car is repaired and roadworthy. Confirmed: repaired and roadworthy
We record the condition and the damage pattern before marks are lost. Typical reasons are unclear liability or disputed prior damage. Typical reason: unclear liability
We separate repaired prior damage from unrepaired old damage (Altschaden). Without this separation, the insurer regularly reduces the payment, see reasons for reductions. Separated: prior damage and old damage
For accidents that were not your fault, we bill the other driver's liability insurance directly. You do not receive an invoice from us.
For hail, wildlife, marten or storm damage under your own vehicle insurance (Kaskoschaden), the insurer usually sends its own expert. If you want to hire us yourself, ask your insurer first whether it will cover the costs.
We bill valuation reports (Wertgutachten) and damage caused by your own fault directly to you. We tell you the price beforehand, not afterwards.
Below an amount of damage of about €750 (minor damage, Bagatellschaden), a full damage report is often not reimbursed. A repair estimate is then the right choice. There is no fixed limit. What counts is how the person with the damaged car sees the situation when they place the order.
That depends on the amount of damage and on who is liable. Describe the case by phone, and we tell you what fits. This is true even if you do not need a report at all.
No. A real report must include diminished value, residual value and downtime. We offer the repair estimate or the full report.
Yes. If the insurer reduced the payment, or the numbers in another expert's report do not match the damage, we check them. We also write the expert statement on it.
Yes. A repair estimate does not have to come from the repair shop. If you want a calculation that is independent of the repair shop, this is the way.
Usually within 24 hours. We come to you, to the repair shop or to the place where the car is parked. The finished report is usually ready within 24 hours after the inspection.
Your vehicle registration certificate (Fahrzeugschein), your contact details and, if you have one, the file number of the insurer or the police. We clarify everything else on site.
