Even as a child, I knew that cars are more than a way to get around. During my mechatronics studies, I fulfilled my biggest dream. For three years, together with my team, I built a new race car every year for Formula Student. It is the world's largest international engineering design competition for students.
We worked from the first idea to the last screw, from production to the race events in Europe. This time shaped my technical understanding more than anything else.
Anyone who has designed and built a vehicle sees things in the damage pattern that others miss. One example is a bent frame rail (a strong main beam under the vehicle that holds the body). You cannot see it from outside, but it decides between repair and Total loss (Totalschaden).

The German word Gutachter (expert) is not protected by law. This is why everything depends on whether someone really understands the technology. Only then do they see the key details.
My foundation is a mechatronics degree at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. I also passed the certified knowledge examination as an independent vehicle expert for damage and valuation at SFV e.V. In addition, I built vehicles myself, took them apart and put them together again.
We work with professional equipment: high-resolution detail photos, paint thickness measurement and measuring technology for impact height and deformation. This makes damage visible that nobody sees from outside.
This is exactly what matters in a report. A nice photo does not count. What counts is a clear match between the contact marks, their height and the extent of the damage. A simple repair cost calculation cannot do this.
235 square meters at Willi-Grasser-Straße 21 in Erlangen-Frauenaurach (more about the workshop). It is our inspection hall. We do not repair cars there. You do not have to come to us. We still drive to your vehicle.

For a valuation report, we do not only state the value of the vehicle. We also show the vehicle. That is why we take photos in the studio, not in the yard.
An accident is stressful. We take care of the organization for you. We make the appointment, inspect the vehicle, write the report and send it to everyone involved. If the insurer has technical questions, we stay your contact person, even weeks later.
We calculate the cost of the damage and document it. We are not allowed to give legal advice or assert claims, and we do not want to. That is the job of a lawyer. If the claim settlement (Regulierung) is delayed or the payment is reduced (Kürzung), we can connect you with specialist traffic law lawyers in the region. We do this only if you wish. The lawyer then asserts the claim. We provide the technical basis.
Accidents happen when you least expect them. So you can call us 24 hours a day, and the inspection itself takes place by appointment. On the phone, you reach the independent vehicle expert himself.
The E92 M3 was a dream. I could afford it through my self-employment alongside my studies. Step by step, I optimized it for the race track.
